We guide the steps of cancer patients from diagnosis, through therapy and beyond. We are with them, their doctors and their families, with every need, every step of the way.
It’s time to find solutions and overcome the obstacles that cancer patients face every day in a chaotic healthcare system. Let’s help them be better informed about their diagnosis, get access to the medical expertise they need and the right resources more rapidly and efficiently.
Asociatia Heal was founded by a group of doctors and digital health enthusiasts eager to change the care system and quality of life for cancer patients in Romania.
We hope that through our projects and through the development of an international network of oncological tele-expertise all Romanian patients will have access to an accurate diagnosis of the form of cancer they suffer from and to the most appropriate treatment, as close as possible to where they live.

In partnership with the Association of Transdisciplinary Society of Personalized Oncology for the Fight against Cancer and with the support of the National Natural Gas Transport Company Transgaz SA, more than 200 patients will benefit from free evaluations by internationally prestigious doctors.
*Second opinion evaluations are available for any form of cancer confirmed by a treating oncologist, based on a diagnosis supported by pathological findings.
The Navigation Service offers personalized support and assistance with the practical, physical and emotional issues that can arise when someone is facing a cancer diagnosis. It helps you navigate the healthcare system by identifying the appropriate resources for your diagnosis, coordinates the services you need, and teaches you how to communicate effectively with your healthcare team so you can become an active participant in decisions regarding your health.
The Second Opinion service assists patients who have already received a cancer diagnosis to access a team of experts from Romania and abroad to get an independent second opinion. Following an evaluation of the medical file by an expert specialized in the specific type of cancer, second opinion assessments can often provide a new perspective on the medical situation and can be extremely useful for both patients and treating physicians to make the optimal decision together.
The Tumor Board service is the tool we are developing to create a network for collaborative multi-disciplinary care and cross-border exchange of professional expertise. The collaborative approach puts the patient at the centre of the care process so that they can make the best decisions about their health. The Tumour Board service offers all the advantages of a second opinion, while ensuring that the doctors of a multidisciplinary board are in consensus, thereby reducing errors and resolving any potential conflicts in diagnosis and treatment plans.
A cancer patient needs constant attention – from diagnosis and correct information, to obtaining adequate investigations, getting the treatment according to latest international protocols, through supportive therapy – a complex journey that can take months and even years. If you’re looking for ways to make a difference in the life of people with cancer, consider exploring these options!
